Limited Edition Whiskey, signed by Medal of Honor Recipient, MSG Leroy Petry
MSG Leroy Petry is a retired United States Army Ranger. On May 26, 2008, Staff Sergeant Petry and his unit were on a mission in Paktia Province, Afghanistan. Petry picked up an enemy grenade and tossed it in the direction of the Taliban fighters. The detonation amputated his right hand, and sprayed his body with shrapnel. Petry then saved at least two soldiers from serious injury or death and engaged Taliban fighters in close combat.
On July 12, 2011 He received the U.S. military’s highest decoration, the Medal of Honor, for his actions in 2008 during Operation Enduring Freedom.
